Kaplow client, Nexxus, has returned to Bravo’s hit creative competition series “Shear Genius” as the sole integrated sponsor of the second season. The partnership includes exclusive in-show brand integration with the Nexxus-branded salon and customized vignettes featuring Nexxus stylist, Roy Teeluck, who also keeps a blog on both BravoTV.com and Nexxus.com.
Kaplow has been involved with the Nexxus and Shear Genius partnership from day one – creating the premise for the “Do It Yourself” episode, which aired on July 16. In order to translate the looks from Shear Genius to the viewers at home, Kaplow creates a weekly step-by-step guide on ‘How to Get the Winning Look’ – a proven hit with the beauty blogs. To round-out the program, Kaplow’s K:drive creative services division developed a Nexxus and Shear Genius online contest in which fans of the show can join the competition by creating their own ‘how-to’ video of their favorite hairstyle trend.
