Late last month CVS/pharmacy officially opened the doors to their massive New York City flagship. Kaplow was there to set the stage for media coverage with a Holiday Shopping event for 52 top beauty editors and writers from leading consumer, trade, broadcast and online media outlets.
After the red carpet arrivals, CVS’s Divisional Merchandising Manager for Beauty Care greeted editors who demonstrated CVS’s exclusive beauty collection – “24.7” Skincare.” The collection was the day’s highlight! They also appreciated the tour of the store, which was designed through CVS’s “Life Format” program that features wider isles and lower shelving to make shopping more enjoyable and accommodating for the average shopper (who is 5’4″).
