The Kaplow team recently spent the day with campers at Morry’s Camp in Glen Spey, N.Y. The residential camp is the anchor program for Project Morry, a non-profit, year-round youth development program that empowers youth from at-risk, economically challenged communities to envision a positive future. For more than a decade, Kaplow has been a part of the strong network that provides each child in this program with mentoring and emotional support.
This summer, campers have been working on a portfolio to tell their personal brand stories. We lent our Public Relations know-how to help the campers compose their personal brand pitches. At the end of the day, the kids presented their pitches for their target audiences such as a college admissions officer or a potential employer. They did a great job!
We left inspired by the campers’ stories. Working with each of them, we learned about their aspirations and were able to give them tools to help them achieve their goals. We look forward to hearing about the ways they put their personal brand pitches to work, and to returning to Morry’s Camp next year!
