Kaplow Leverages Fashion Week in Unexpected Ways for Clients

Editors, stylists, writers, celebrities and influencers flooded the tents at Bryant Park to see the fall 2008 collections on February 1; and Kaplow clients—eBay, American Express Platinum Cards and Shiseido Cosmetics—were at the center.

American Express Platinum Cards hosted their ultra-exclusive Sky Box for the second season. In the Sky Box, cardholders and top-tier media sipped champagne while nabbing a bird’s eye view of more than 40 shows. Fashion industry veteran and eBay Style Director Constance White, conducted more than a dozen print and broadcast interviews, shot backstage footage for her eBay blog, and chatted with celebrities such as Debra Messing and Victoria Beckham. White also hosted a reception at the Bryant Park Hotel to celebrate the close of show week attended by more than 70 media outlets including Cookie magazine, E! News, and the Wall Street Journal.

Longtime client partner, Shiseido Cosmetics’ celebrity makeup artist and Artistic Director, Dick Page was literally everywhere! He created gorgeous looks for shows such as Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors and Narciso Rodriguez.
