Kaplow received two Alberto Culver Accent awards for program excellence in 2006. The Nexxus Salon Hair Care team won the “Integration Award” for developing the Holiday Hair public relations strategy which was also implemented within the advertising print and online campaign. The Holiday Hair program was based on sharing the brand’s salon expertise by offering a visual step-by-step approach for women to achieve their “ultimate hair”.
Kaplow’s St. Ives team took home the award for “New Product Initiative” for offering the greatest contribution/influence of a new item introduction and assisted in effectively reinforcing the innovative dimensions of the product. The team introduced beauty editors to the new St. Ives Healthy Brilliance product line with an engaging, prestige event positioning the brand as a major player in the competitive body lotion category.
