Kaplow Supports User Generated Content Contest for LeapFrog

LeapFrog officially kicked off their Learning Moments Contest with Kaplow’s help to drive parents to enter their children’s own moments. Kaplow wrote a call-to-action for parents to upload a video or photo of their child’s “Learning Moment” that was posted on LeapFrog’s official Web site . The contest winner will receive $25,000* towards their child’s college tuition and $500 of LeapFrog products. Parents can visit LeapFrog.com and easily share videos or photos of children demonstrating a learning moment. (*$25,000 awarded as $17,500 paid into a 529 college savings account and $7,500 paid in cash.) The contest ends January 15th.

The contest page features kids learning to spell with ClickStart, exploring the colorful world of Brightlings and building school skills with Leapster. To pump up excitement for the contest, Kaplow hit the blogosphere where proud parents share information and stories about their children to spread the news and encourage the sharing on LeapFrog.com. Contest news was featured in Yahoo! Tech, Babble.com, Blogher.org, Thenestbaby.com, WearyParents.com and 5MinutesforMom.com. Time Out New York Kids even incorporated the contest into a larger photo gallery on their Web site where New Yorkers could post photos of their own cutest kids.
