Kaplow Wins Silver SABRE Award for Skype Campaign

Kaplow was the proud recipient of the Silver SABRE Award for best PR campaign in the Telecommunications category for the “America, Skype Me!” program at the annual SABRE Awards Dinner held in New York City on May 8, 2007.

The campaign positioned Skype as a cultural phenomenon everyone could enjoy. With direct-to-consumer marketing efforts that brought Skype to life in unexpected, irreverent and fun styles, the campaign also intersected Americans where they work, play and live.

The four other nominees in the category were Alltel, SunCom Wireless, AT&T and Verizon Business.

The SABRE Awards are widely recognized as the PR industry’s most coveted awards. Entries to the 2006 SABRE Awards competition numbered more than 1,800.
