Target hosted their annual holiday event for editors and journalists on Thursday, July 19. Fifty-six editors and freelance writers from 36 publications attended the multi-category product showing at the Target Studio in the Garment District despite the hot, hot heat.
The venue offered a cool respite in a snowy winter wonderland set of birch trees, birds, and berries. Editors munched on smoothies, scones, hummus, pita bread, fruit, crackers, and mini-BLTs as they perused Target’s holiday product for 2007. Items included food, pet products, women’s and men’s clothing, home decor, beauty products, electronics, sporting goods, kid’s items and toys.
Guests departed with a exclusive Hollywould for Target gift bag filled with specialty soap, a stuffed toy, and a box of Choxie truffles designed by children with cancer from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital–100% of the sales of which will go back to the hospital.
